Charlie, one of the mountains of the Macedon spur. It is situated at about 430m on the slope of a small hill facing north east. Shiraz-Merlot The vineyard has been planted predominantly to shiraz and merlot with a small amount of cabernet sauvignon which is combined and use to be marketed as Mt. Charli"; D7[4]="e Red. It has won bronze medals at the Macedon Ranges Exhibition. It is now the Shiraz-Merlot. MALBEC 2004 was the first year the MALBEC was picked in sufficient quantity to make an individual wine. The wine has great depth of col"; D8[4]="our and intense flavours. It is at present in Oak and will be bottled late in 2005 or early 2006. The 2005 crop has been picked and was excellent in Quality.
